More Ways To Read Me

If you haven't had the chance yet, please see my new article in the September issue of Orientations Magazine. Based in Hong Kong, this magazine caters to Asian Art collectors, connoisseurs, and academics with fresh articles, gallery and museum news, and upcoming sales in the auction world. I will be contributing twice a year for their international Chinese antiques market report.

These reviews will focus mainly on the big three international auction houses, Bonhams, Christie's and Sotheby's. Hopefully, I will give readers an idea of what are the current trends within the various Asian Art antique categories. Orientations is available in most museum bookstores in North America, Europe and Asia.

If you prefer regional Asian Art auctions, check out some of my blogs on Bidsquare.com. They manage an auction house platform based in New York, and I will be contributing monthly blogs in their section titled 'On the Square'. I will be showcasing Asian Art highlight pieces from upcoming regional auctions, and occasionally I will be providing market analyses or highlight a certain category.

I have attached the front cover of the September issue of Orientations. The image is titled 'Which is Earth? No. 7', and painted by the Chinese artist Liu Guosong (1932- ) in 1969. It is part of the permanent collection at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. My review can be found on pp 113-116.
